♪１０月 土曜日　Jane先生のエッセイWorkshop（テーマ別）

エッセイテーマは、安易な分類はできないものの、
「こういったテーマなら、こういった観点を重視して書いてほしい」 というツボが必ずあります。
今の時期、エッセイの完成そのものを急ぐがあまり、 肝心の、その観点がずっこけているエッセイを多く目にします。
Jane先生のエッセイWorkshop（テーマ別） では、 各テーマに添って、いかに先方の求めている問掛けに確実に応え、
かつ 自分のユニークさを最大限にアピールするわざを磨く特訓を行います。
Workshopは、英語によるエッセイ作成を想定し、英語を基本としますが、
必要に応じて日本語によるコミュニケーションも可能です。
きたるインタビューの練習としてもぜひ活用下さい。

全４回の開催のうち、 自分の苦手に感じるテーマにだけ出席するということも可能ですが、
４回パッケージの受講が、より包括的で、ベストです。
またそれと並行して、あるいは独立して、 Jane先生のエッセイ個人カウンセリングを受講することも可能です。

エッセイはスコアメークが終わってから、と考えている人は大間違い！
スコアは本番一瞬のうちに成果を出すことも可能ですが、エッセイはそうはいかない。
スコアがせっかく出ても、そのときにエッセイが出来てないと、 出願したくとも出来ない。。。。
そういったことにならないように、エッセイはスコアメークと並行して進めていくのが一番。
また面白い事に、 スコアとエッセイは両立させることでかえって相乗効果で双方ともはかどるもの。

● what the essays must do for you in the application process ?
● the difference between MBA application essays , AWA essays and standard academic essays?
● the classic essay types and how to approach them?
● what to do with standard combination- type and less common questions?
● how to map your questions for each set of questions?

Each week we will begin by focusing on two of the big eight essay topics:

Week 1 Why MBA?
Week 2 Leadership / Teamwork
Week 3 Accomplishment / Failures (Strengths & Weaknesses)
Week 4 Contribution / Ethics

How to approach the MBA essay
* Keywords for each type of essay
* The question behind the question
* Do’s and don’ts

The rest of the time, students will spend mapping, drafting and writing their own essays.
Individual guidance will be given according to the needs of the students attending
(Bring your essays-in-progress and laptops.)

How to write the MBA essay
* Basic guidelines for good writing
* How to organize a persuasive essay (outline and structure)
* Reorganizing your story to tailor for different programs ************************************************************
